Baraja: "We want to dedicate the victory to the victims and those affected by the 'DANA'"
The coach previews the game against Real Betis
Denis Cheryshev returned to action after an injury in the game against Rayo Vallecano, coming on late as a substitute at Mestalla.
The Russian talked to VCF Media after the final whistle to talk about the 1-1 draw.
Reflecting on the result
It leaves a bad taste in our mouths, after the good game that we had against Real Sociedad. I think that we were motivated to take the win. We got ahead, but we weren't able to maintain the advantage and in the end they equalised.
A change in the second half
Maybe we took a step back in the second half, but then -as we needed to fight back and score- we took a step forward. They had several dangerous counter attacks. I think that the result is a fair one, but insufficient for us, because we want to win.
Returning from injury
The injury has dragged on a little. I was having discomfort for a while. Thankfully I'm ok now, and I am going to try to help the team however possible.
